Ancient Oriental Story Handle Dragon Katana
-1st Generation Highlander
This sword is 43 inches long with a polished blue painted aluminum scabbard with gold artwork over the blue.
The blade is 28 inches of 440 stainless steel 3/16 inches thick.
The handle is the highlight of this piece. It is white acrylic with black highlights. It is a highly detailed mold. The pommel is a menacing dragon head while the sides are molds of ancient oriental drawings that seem to be telling a story. The molds of people and animals is different on both sides. It is a non-repeating design and very detailed. (see large picture)
The scabbard and hilt are topped off with gold colored cast steel, very decorative.
A matching cord wrap is also on the scabbard.
