This detailed longsword celebrates the tradition of Robin Hood, the well-known and well-loved tale straight out of English lore. The handle of this artistic piece consists of a decorative wood-grain handle divided by 3 golden decorative bands. The fanciful pommel has a golden sunburst casting set with an emerald colored gem, all contained within a golden hexagon. The golden hilt has twin decorative cutouts, and at the ends are twin griffon claws clutching golden spheres. The hilt also has a golden Robin Hood crest with twin decorative extensions curling out from it.
The overall length of this longsword is approximately 46", the blade measuring approximately 35" long. The hilt measures approximately 9 1/2" end to end.
Included with this sword is a woodgrain wall plaque measuring approximately 12"W x 20"L.
